AirBnB Open Spotlight 2016

Downtown Los Angeles

Chalk this up in the "things to do in SoCal" category of things.  If you have nothing to do this Saturday, November 19th, perhaps head on over to Downtown Los Angeles for a fun little concert festival and cultural event presented as part of the AirBnB Open, a weekend convention that is geared towards Airbnb hosts.

Accompanying the convention is the AirBnB Spotlight, a festival open to anyone who wants to join.  This event will feature a special concert by Maroon 5 (if you're into them), plus other local L.A. artists.  In addition, guests can check out a pop-up bazaar featuring small businesses and artisans from the local L.A. area.  The AirBnB Open Spotlight also features a sneak preview screening of the upcoming film, La La Land, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.

If this sounds like your thing, you can get more information and buy tickets here!

From the press release:

Britney Spears, Kendall Jenner and Steven Tyler have all enjoyed luxury vacations at Airbnb homes across the world… and on November 19th these stars along with other Airbnb users have the chance to be submerged into the world of the peer-to-peer online marketplace at the Airbnb’s Open Spotlight.  On Saturday, November 19th, Maroon 5 will be extending their North American tour and headlining the exclusive Airbnb Open Spotlight for a select group of celebrities, billionaires and VIPs. The cultural celebration will come on the heels of the Belo Awards hosted by funnyman, James Cordon, as well as the weekend’s speakers and presenters including Ashton Kutcher, Gwyneth Paltrow, Brian Grazer and other billionaire CEOs.  It’s been rumored that many of the celebrity fans of Airbnb will be appearing at the Maroon 5 concert to support both the band and homestay network.
The festival will also have a sneak-peek screening of La La Land, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, which hits theaters in December. The Airbnb Open Spotlight is expected to be the biggest night of the year in Los Angeles as it will be filled with stars and CEOs all in one room, giving guests the ultimate VIP experience compliments of the hottest home-sharing company on the planet.
